My name is Erick Martin del Campo Castrejon. Yes, that whole thing is my name. I graduated from Purdue University with a Master's degree in Computer Science and graduated from "Universidad La Salle Cuernavaca" with a bachelor's degree in Information Systems.

I started learning about web and software development at college, but I also began to teach myself more about web design and video games development in the late 2003 / early 2004 while finishing my bachelor's. I registered as self-employed in June 2005 and have designed a few websites for businesses to gain experience on web development and I have worked on some small video games as well.

I became more experienced at coding when I worked for three and a half years at Instituto de Investigaciones Eléctricas. I worked as Senior Analyst/Programmer developing software oriented towards civil engineers. Most of the engineering systems which I worked on were developed in Java and used some Visual Basic as well.

As I was studying to pursue my Master's degree at Purdue University, I worked on several projects related to different areas of Computer Science, including Scientific Visualization, Computer Graphics, Videogames Design, Parallel Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms Design, Database Systems, Programming Languages, Networks and Capturing and Rendering Real 3D World Scenes.

A few years later I decided to switch to working more with people than just facing the screen of a computer, which is why I decided to accept a job as a Data Warehousing consultant. I acquired lots of new knowledge during that period of time, which allowed me to evolve as a professional. After 5 years, I switched back to doing what I love, programming. I have been a developer again since then, focusing mainly on .NET web development and creating Unity video games.

Feel free to check out some samples of my work and play some of the games I have developed, visit and/or download my Curriculum Vitae and read more about me. You are also welcome to contact me and please do not forget to include your e-mail address so that I can reply as soon as possible.
